Esmée’s Open Letter to Gary Barlow

Posted by Lindsey on
May 9th, 2014

Esmée just posted a beautifully written open letter on her official facebook account which she wrote to Gary Barlow. I would recommend everyone to read it, because it’s definitely worth the read!

Open letter to Gary Barlow.

I know that writing open letters to artists and politicians voicing an opinion about the choices they are making/have made seems to be the trendy thing to do these days, however this letter is different as it is not filled with judgement of any kind.

After watching the BBC documentary ‘When Corden met Barlow‘ I was so Inspired and moved by the interview that I felt like I had to thank you in some way for being so open to share your story with us. I don’t know you personally and thought maybe this way I could reach out and let you know that I think you are a class act! (I’m sure you have been told this many times!)

If anyone hasn’t seen it yet then please go watch it now! Especially if you are an aspiring artist. Life changing stuff!

Esmée uploaded a medly of James Blake’s song “Retrograde” and “Limit to your love” on her official youtube account a few weeks ago. It’s the first time she is doing a cover with her Ukelele. What do you think of the cover?

Hey everyone, I bought a Ukelele a while back because I thought it would be perfect for making youtube video’s. I have been practicing a lot but I’m still very much a beginner So sorry if this video’s sounds less professional then the others!

Hope that you like it! Leave me a comment if you wanna hear me sing another song on the Ukelele and tell me what song you would like for me to sing!
x Esmee

Harrogate News is reporting that Esmée will perform at Jakes Café Bar as part of Jakes Unplugged evenings. Tickets are available now, be sure to head over to this site for more information.

The Dutch music star, Esmee Denters, is coming to Harrogate to perform on Thursday 13 March 2014 as part of the Jakes Unplugged evenings run at Jakes Café Bar.

Jakes Café Bar may not be a place one associates with live music. Many of us know the place for the beautiful cakes you see on display as you walk along Oxford Street, or for the popular monthly wine club. But contrary to what one might expect, it also turns out that it is a thriving music venue, with artists the calibre of Miss Denters regularly making an appearance.
