As you can see we have a brand new look, we also have a matching theme for our gallery. The theme base is made by Ray and I made the header myself. I hope you like the new look as much as I do. I’m still working on updating some things here and there.
For those who have been following the site since the beginning you probably have noticed that our site updates are not as frequent as they use to be. I have to admit, I thought about closing the site for quite a few times over the last few months. I started the site when I was still in high school and sometimes I had the feeling it was time for me to move on. After much debating i decided to keep the site for now because I couldn’t close this chapter just yet.
The site will turn 7 this June and I decided to focus on updating the content of our site the coming weeks. We have lots of (gallery) updates coming up so stay tuned!

Ont’ Sofa Gibson Session released a brand new cover of Esmée covering “Say Something” with Fabian Belassie
When Esmee & Fabian teamed up to perform this track recently at our sessions in London, they learned it from scratch and then performed it in a matter of a few hours… we think they did a cracking job, and we hope you enjoy it too!
MTV Voices released their interview with Esmée they did a while ago. It’s defenitely worth the read! She talks about how she got discovered, leaving Tennman Records, going back to youtube and more.
My name is Esmee Denters, and my passion took me from Holland to the Hollywood Hills. I grew up in a small town in Holland and Justin Timberlake was the one who discovered me online. It was really crazy -one day I was just singing for fun, and the next I got flown over to the U.S. to meet with Justin. I was the first artist on his record label – which was insane.
Life completely changed in about six months. One day I was working at home in a pancake house and six months later I was on the Oprah Winfrey show and travelling the world – everything went so quickly but it was a really incredible experience. I guess sometimes it felt really surreal because it all happened so fast that I barely felt like I was in the moment at the time. But it was a once in a life-time opportunity so I ran with it. I moved to L.A. to record my first album; it was amazing – there are so many people that are trying to accomplish and live their dreams. In Holland, not a lot of people believe they can achieve anything, it’s a different state of mind! People in Holland are more down to earth, as opposed to the U.S. where people dream big and are very career driven
