Esmée was one of the many artist who performed the official “Koningslied” (King’s song) during the big concert in Ahoy, Rotterdam (Holland) on Queensday (April 30). All the artist and the audience performed the song for King Willem-Alexander, Queen Máxima and their 3 daugthers. We added photos of her during the concert, as well as screen captures of the official performance in our gallery.
You can watch the performance below. Esmée performed parts of the song with Alain Clark and Nielson. Be sure to check out our previous update with the official music video, studio pictures and more in case you missed it.
Esmée was one of the many dutch artist who had the honor of being part of the official song – titled “Koningslied” (Kings’ song) – to celebrate the inauguration of King Willem-Alexander. She flew to Holland back in April to record the song and film the music video. The photos of Esmée in the studio, the screen captures of the official music video and the official artwork are added in our gallery.
The official music video for the song was released last month. Esmée is only featured in the video for a few seconds, because there were so many artist collaborating for this song. She sang her parts with up and coming dutch singer/songwriter Nielson (he is best known in Holland for his song ‘Beaty and the Brains‘). You can watch the video below, Esmée appears around the 02:40 mark.
Stay tuned for more “Koningslied” (Kings’ Song) related news.
Hello everyone! First of all, welcome back! As you may have noticed we were down for a few days because our domain expired, but thanks to our amazing host Gertie we are back! Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience!
Secondly, I want to take this moment to apologize for the lack of updates lately. But as you may have noticed, there is not much going on lately. I have to admit, I considered closing Esmeefans.com a few times the last few months. University life is keeping me busy lately and I kind of lost motivation to keep the site a live because of the lack of news. But after thinking about it, I decide to keep the site for now. It’s hard to say goodbye to the site I have builded from scratch.
I still support Esmée, and I believe in her talent. I can’t wait to see and hear what’s next for her, and hopefully our patience will worth it when we are finally able to listen to her second album ;-). Thank you everyone for visiting the site all these years, for all your comments, tweets, e-mails and facebook messages! Stay tuned, I will catch up with missing updates in the coming days.
Esmée uploaded a brand new cover at her alternative youtube account /esmeeworld. Be sure to watch it below, you can watch the vlog she uploaded on her official channel /esmeedenters inside/after the jump.
Esmée published a new blog on her official facebook account a few hours ago. She confirms she is not signed to Tennman Records/Interscope anymore. For me it was a really interesting read, so be sure to check it out below.
Hey everyone ,
I told you all a while ago that I wanted to share more of my story with you. I have had a some really eye opening moments this week. And I feel so different from a few of months ago. I know it has been a long time that I have put out any new music. And watching your lovely Facebook/twitter/youtube messages comments every morning when I wake up has really helped me through some of the harder moments. So I really wanna thank you for that. Like Oprah Winfrey once said : Lots of people want to ride with you in the limo, but what you want is someone who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down. Thank you all for riding the bus with me and sticking with me and encouraging me to keep going. After all life is a Journey not a destination. Continue Reading
