Esmée made a TV Appearance, her first one in quite a long time, yesterday in the dutch television show Ik hou van Holland (I love Holland). It’s one of the biggest dutch game shows. She already pre-recorded her appearance in February, but her episode finally aired yesterday in the Netherlands.
Esmée was part of Team Jeroen, and they won! During her introduction in the beginning Esmée mentioned that “Screaming Out Loud” is the working title of her upcoming second album, so we expect that the title will chance! She also said she recently filmed the music video for her first single “City Lights“. We think Esmée did a good job last night, it was so fun to see her on screen again!
Fun fact: Esmée Denters was a world wide trending topic last night. She also released the acoustic version of “City Lights” yesterday.
We will try to upload the segments with Esmée during her Ik Hou Van Holland appearance as soon as possible as well as the screen caps. She looked stunning, you can see a preview above. Dutch fan can re-watch the whole episode via this link.
I can’t express how excited I am, but I think it’s safe to say that Esmée is ‘back’. She worked on her upcoming second album “Screaming Out Loud” the last 2 years. She just uploaded the acoustic version of her upcoming, and first single of the album, “City Lights“. Be sure to watch it below.
A recap from tonight’s appearance in the dutch television show “Ik Hou Van Holland” (I Love Holland) is coming tomorrow.
Esmée released the first still of her upcoming “City Lights” music video recently. We added the still in our gallery. It looks promising! Esmée in the dark, with the london city lights in the background. She filmed the music video earlier this year and we hope it will be released soon!

Esmée will make an guest appearances in the dutch series “Who’s in Who’s Out” which is currently being aired in Holland. She will portray herself, it’s the second time she made an appearance in a series. Last year she made a cameo (as herself) in “Zie ze Vliegen“.
“Who’s in who’s out” is a dutch series about an art academy and Esmée will give a masterclass for the students of the academy.
I was pleasantly surprised when I first watched the series. I especially think the online auditions are clever, and I think that will be the future. You can feel the series is made by young and ambitious people. I will be playing myself, and I am really happy I can debut with this guest role.
-Esmée on her upcoming appearance
According to the official press release Esmée will appear in next week’s episode, so dutch fans be sure to tune in March 4th 7PM on BBN (Z@P)! We are so happy Esmée is making television appearances again, she will also be in the dutch tv show “Ik houd van Holland” (I Love Holland). Let’s hope more information about her second album will be released soon!
Late January it was announced Esmée would make an appearance in the dutch television hit “Ik hou van Holland” (I Love Holland). It’s one of the biggest dutch television shows of all time. Two teams will compete to find out who knows the most about the Netherlands. It’s really a fun family show to watch!
Esmée pre-recorded her appearance last week (February 7). The first episode of the new season will air February 25, but we are not sure which episode Esmée will appear in. We are really excited for this appearance, since it’s a big tv show in Holland and it’s good promotion for Esmée since it’s been a while since she was on dutch television!
First of all sorry for the lack of updates lately. There isn’t much to update you on but my motivation to keep the site updated was really low especially since my personal life kept me busy. I even considered closing the site at one point, but I decided to keep it since I would hate to see all my hard work go away. Don’t get me wrong, I still love and support Esmée but it’s hard to keep a site open and a live when the last time Esmée released her own music was in 2009.
I will try to keep you guys up-to-date and catch up with a few missing updates this week. Again, I am sorry for the lack of updates.
