We recently added new unseen outtakes of the 2010 session Esmée did for MTV while she was in New York last year. We added 9 new outtakes of this session. Unfortunately they are heavily tagged, but it’s always better then nothing right? I will try to get them untagged as soon as possible. Thanks to LaLa for donating these outtakes to us.

    She looks lovely!

To continue the album talk from the last post, If Justin is producing on the new album i hope he takes it to another level.

Outta Here(Album) is a really good/strong cohesive album, but it felt safe.(Understandable since it was her debut, But esmée can/could do better!!).

I want esmée to make an album full of Hits, She needs to be able to compete with Rihanna, katy perry etc.
Btw, I feel like on this Album esmée has more control as far producing goes. It’s a good thing! :-)

God…I can’t wait for some new esmée music!!!…

I truly loved the sound of her debut album; it’s fresh for the American music scene. Not over-produced, you can actually hear the instruments and it’s a mixture of styles.

I think Esmée is able to get to the ‘Rihanna/Katy Perry’ level, to be honest they aren’t the great vocalist in the world =p so I think Esmée can top them vocally. But they also got were they are by their whole image. I said this before, but it helps in ‘Hollywood’ to date a famous person or to be followed by the paparazzi non-stop. They are a brand: not only producing music, but also clothing, parfum you name it and worked years for it. Esmée just started..

I think Esmée has a great personallity, she is not ‘fame-whoring’ (Sorry for the word, but don’t know another word which can discribe what I mean) but wants to break through because she wants to share her passion with the world.

Really hope Esmée stays Esmée but I also understands she needs to create her own artistical image. To conclude: Esmée will make it on her own way, but in her way she stays true to herself. The world can’t keep ignoring her talent ;)

    @Lindsey

    I agree!!!

Ps: I wasn’t suggesting she becomes a rihanna/katy perry type artist just to score hits!
What i love about esmée, is that she truly is unique by just being herself, i want to see more of that! More esmée! and not what A producer or Justin/Label thinks esmée is. :-)

And I LOVE Outta here! :D

  4. Lindsey Says:

@Niceguy – Haha good that we agree ;) I think that’s what makes Esmée unique in this industry; she is not fake but herself and that’s a rare thing now … Most of her fans ‘fell in love’ with her personality and her talent and those kind of artist will make it far!

    From iterview with Justin Timberlake:

“I think I may spend some time in the studio this summer.”

“I’m unemployed right now. I haven’t been hired for anything so I may hire myself to write some music…It’s right around the corner.”

Could mean he has free time to work on Esmée’s second album *wink*

@Lindsey @niceguy I agree with you! It will take some time for her to become famous like at the level of Rihanna or Katy Perry. But it’s better it takes some time instead of all these hypes that dominate the charts right now. I keep on wondering what will happen to these hypes in 10 years from now.
Esmée’s debut album wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t enough to become famous. But what I’m reading about her second album really is promising. I believe she really has what it takes to become big for a long time. In 10 years, who knows what will happen, but I’m glad that I can say that I was there from the beginning.

  7. niceguy Says:

Esmée Denters is definitely one of a kind!!

  8. niceguy Says:

Ok i need to also add that when i said that Justin should take it to the next level(If he is producing on the new album) and that Outta here(Album) felt safe, I meant that Esmée is/was much stronger than the material!

Having said that, Outta Here still is a strong/Cohesive album!
Rihanna Or katy Perry couldn’t even pull of some of the songs on Outta here! Esmée blows them out of the water big time!

My oh my… it is very quiet in Esmeeland. Hopefully silence before the storm.

Lastest news (week ago) from a producer.
efexxmusic: @esmeeworld hey u! these vocals are serious! can’t wait for you to hear the final mix, it’s a Biggie!

  12. niceguy Says:

    It is very quiet….

Hopefully this tweet means the start of a new Esmée Denters era..

    “@esmeeworld
I will talk about my new music soon.. My baby is growing fast!”

  13. niceguy Says:

Looks like she’s headed for New York and L.A This month, Awesome!
More recording? Planning/preparation for a new era?!! Hope so! :D

  14. mr Says:

Management in NY and label in LA, business talks for the upcoming album I suppose. It seems she is more in control this time, which results in many difficult choices. I think it would be a good idea to let a bunch of label-guys/gals-with-experience in UK/US/NL listen to the music, they probably know a bit better what will do well.

    @mr

    Yes!
